2027 7th International Conference on Intelligent Control, Measurement and Signal Processing (ICMSP 2025) successfully held in Xi'an
From November 28 to 30, the 2025 7th International Conference on Intelligent Control, Measurement and Signal Processing (ICMSP 2025) was successfully held at the Conference Center of the Yanta Campus, Xi’an Shiyou University. The conference attracted over 400 experts and scholars who gathered to discuss the latest research achievements and future development trends in the field.
Xiaoyong Zhang, Vice President of Xi’an Shiyou University, attended the conference and delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the university, he warmly welcomed all distinguished guests and experts who came from afar, and expressed sincere thanks for their long-term support and contributions to the development of the university’s education. He emphasized that intelligent control, measurement, and signal processing, as interdisciplinary fields within modern science and technology, have become important engines driving leapfrog development in key areas such as energy development, intelligent manufacturing, and environmental protection. At present, with the deep integration of information technology and artificial intelligence, this field is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. He hoped that through this conference, cooperation and exchanges with domestic and international universities and research institutes could be further strengthened, and that together participants could achieve new breakthroughs in intelligent control, measurement, and signal processing.
Susanto Rahardja, Qiu Shi Chair Professor of Zhejiang University and the conference Chair, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizing committee, stating that the conference would greatly promote cooperation and exchange within the international academic community.
Fei Li, Dean of the School of Electronic Engineering at Xi’an Shiyou University, hosted the opening ceremony. The conference invited five renowned experts and scholars to give keynote speeches: Jian Liu, Vice President of Harbin Institute of Technology, member of the 8th Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council Discipline Evaluation Group, and Executive Director of the China Instrument and Control Society; Huige Di, Dean of the School of Optoelectronic Science and Intelligent Instrumentation, Xi'an University of Technology and a national high-level talent; Zhijun Jian, technical expert and chief mechanical engineer at China National Offshore Oil Corporation; Shubin Yan, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power; and Hong Huang, Vice Dean of the School of Optoelectronic Engineering at Chongqing University. They shared their latest research progress covering cutting-edge areas in intelligent control, measurement, and signal processing. Their profound insights and rich research experience provided valuable academic inspiration to the attendees.
The afternoon parallel sessions offered a platform for participants to present research results and exchange ideas. Nearly 20 scholars from various fields enthusiastically showcased their research and shared innovative ideas. Ultimately, four scholars—Jiaxing Wang from North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering, Xiaoxing Li from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Yanting Yang and Cheng Zhang from Xi’an Shiyou University—were awarded Outstanding Presentation Awards.
